A reinvented culinary tradition in Southern Burgundy
Founded in 1910 by Antoine Larochette, Auberge Larochette was long a must-stop destination in Bourgvilain, at the heart of Southern Burgundy. Once frequented by travelers and horse-drawn carriages — whose hitching rings can still be seen today — it has embodied the soul and hospitality of the village for over a century.
In 2026, the establishment began a new chapter in its history and became Les Arbillons Restaurant, while preserving the warm spirit that built its reputation.
Today, Chef Ivan Gérard brings his vision to life through a cuisine that is generous, sincere, and creative. Inspired by the seasons and the Burgundian terroir, he elevates carefully selected local ingredients to offer a truly authentic gastronomic experience.
In the warmer months, the restaurant’s shaded and flower-filled terrace provides a peaceful setting to fully enjoy the beauty of the Mâconnais landscapes — a timeless moment to savor.
